Curious XL – Box Flower – 90COE – 6 petals

With this you get 6 petals to make one flower 4.5cm or 1.5inch. These XL murrine are pulled much larger than normal murrine varying in size from 10-18mm in diameter. As soon as we have pulled them from the Vitrigraph kiln we put them directly into another kiln to anneal. They are so thick that we have to cut them on the tile saw, we suggest that you dust them with a light coating of clear powder before firing. Using a unique process created by Tabitha Burrill at Tabitha’s Glass Emporium we can now make these detail murrine patterns reminiscent of millefiori at a very affordable price. All made with 100% Bullseye Glass 90COE. They can be purchased in lots of 6 petals of 2-6mm murrine slices.  The photograph of the unfired slices.
