XL Murrine – Iris – 90COE

Tabitha’s Glass Emporium proudly creates and produces XL Murrine, each exceeding 10mm (1/2 inch) in diameter. Transform your glass art with the bold beauty of XL Iris Murrine, adding intricate floral patterns that will make any design stand out!

These murrine pieces range from 10mm to 18mm in diameter. After we pull them from the Vitrigraph kiln, we immediately place them in another kiln for the essential annealing process.

Our XL murrine are exceptionally thick, requiring precise cutting with a diamond-bladed tile saw. To achieve the best finish, we recommend lightly dusting them with clear powder before firing.

What sets our murrine apart is the process pioneered by Tabitha Burrill. This method allows us to create intricate murrine patterns, reminiscent of millefiori, at an incredibly affordable price. We craft every piece using 100% Bullseye Glass 90COE, ensuring top-notch quality.

It’s important to note that we draw our murrine slices from different sections of the pull, resulting in unique pieces. Some slices may feature less pattern, but this allows us to keep our prices competitive while minimizing waste.
