Tabitha’s Glass Emporium exclusively creates XL Murrine, exceeding 10mm (1/2 inch) in diameter. Enhance your artwork with XL Iris Murrine, offering bold, vibrant colors and intricate designs that add a striking, elegant touch to any project.

These murrine pieces range from 10mm to 18mm in diameter, making them stand out in any creation. After we pull them from the Vitrigraph kiln, we immediately place them in another kiln for the crucial annealing process.

Additionally, our XL murrine are exceptionally thick, requiring precise cutting with a fine diamond bladed tile saw. To perfect their final appearance, we recommend lightly dusting them with clear powder before firing.

What truly sets us apart is the unique process pioneered by Tabitha Burrill. This process allows us to create intricate murrine patterns, reminiscent of millefiori, all while keeping prices affordable. We craft every piece using 100% Oceanside Glass 96COE for superior quality.

It’s important to note that our murrine slices come from various parts of the pull, which makes each piece unique. Some may feature less pattern, helping us keep prices competitive while reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact.
