Tabitha’s Glass Emporium proudly leads the way as the creator and producer of XL Murrine, measuring over 10mm (½ inch) in diameter. These larger murrine unlock new creative possibilities, allowing you to explore bolder designs with greater impact. Enhance your glass projects with Lily Pad XL Murrine—perfect for adding elegant, nature-inspired floral details!
Each piece ranges from 10mm to 18mm in diameter, making them stand out in any design. After pulling them from the Vitrigraph kiln, we immediately transfer them to another kiln for a crucial annealing process. This ensures strength and durability, preparing them for precision cutting.
Their exquisite floral patterns make them a stunning addition to any glass art project. To achieve the best results, we recommend using a fine diamond-bladed tile saw for clean cuts. For an extra polished finish, lightly dust them with clear powder before firing.
What makes our murrine unique is the process pioneered by Tabitha Burrill at Tabitha’s Glass Emporium. This innovative technique creates intricate patterns inspired by millefiori while remaining exceptionally affordable. Every piece is 100% Bullseye Glass 90COE, ensuring top-tier quality and consistency in every batch.
Keep in mind that our murrine slices are drawn from various parts of the pull, resulting in unique pieces. Some may feature less pattern, which is how we keep our prices competitive and uphold our commitment to minimizing waste and environmental impact at TGE. Join us in making a positive contribution to our planet while creating something extraordinary from every aspect of the pull.
