XL Murrine – Nutcracker – 90COE

At Tabitha's Glass Emporium, we proudly create XL Murrine, each exceeding 10mm (1/2 inch) in diameter. Elevate your glass art with XL Nutcracker Murrine—perfect for adding festive charm and intricate details to your projects this season!

Our murrine range from 10mm to 18mm in diameter. After we pull them from the Vitrigraph kiln, we quickly move them into a second kiln for the essential annealing process.

Because of their thickness, our XL murrine require precise cutting with a diamond-bladed tile saw. To further enhance their appearance, we recommend lightly dusting them with clear powder before firing.

What truly sets us apart is our unique process, developed by Tabitha Burrill. This process allows us to create intricate millefiori-like patterns at an affordable price. Each piece is crafted with 100% Bullseye Glass 90COE for exceptional quality.

Additionally, we draw slices from different sections of the pull, making each piece unique. Some slices may have less pattern, which helps us keep our prices competitive and reduce waste. By supporting us, you're contributing to sustainability while creating something truly extraordinary.

Product Details

• Available in slices measuring approximately 2-6mm, in either 25g or 1oz bags of murrine slices
• For optimal shape retention, avoid firing above 730°C-740°C or 1345-1365°F.
