XL Murrine – Pear – 90COE

Tabitha’s Glass Emporium proudly creates XL Murrine, exceeding 10mm (1/2 inch) in diameter. With the vibrant XL Pear Murrine, you can bring your glass art to life using 100% Bullseye Glass for stunning color and creativity.

These murrine pieces range from 10mm to 18mm in diameter. Once we pull them from the Vitrigraph kiln, they immediately undergo a critical annealing process in a second kiln.

Moreover, the XL Pear Murrine easily fits into any glass art project, offering both versatility and bold design. Additionally, we create exceptionally thick murrine that require precision cutting with a diamond bladed tile saw. For a polished finish, lightly dust them with clear powder before firing.

Our unique process, pioneered by Tabitha Burrill, allows us to create intricate millefiori-style murrine at an affordable price. We use only 100% Bullseye Glass 90COE for exceptional quality.

It’s important to note that our murrine slices come from various parts of the pull, making each piece one of a kind. Some may have less pattern, which helps us keep prices competitive while reducing waste. By choosing our murrine, you not only get beautiful glass art but also contribute to a more sustainable, creative world.

Product Details

• Available in slices measuring approximately 2-6mm, in 25g or 1oz bags of XL murrine slices
• For optimal shape retention, avoid firing above 730°C-740°C or 1345-1365°F.
